Dears,
We are sold out! The very last Rebozos and Fajas are on their way to their lucky new companions.
It has been beautiful to bring these special pieces from Mexico to so many doulas, midwives and body practitioners in Germany, Austria and Switzerland — and to have supported, together with you and our Mexican craft partner Antama, projects strengthening traditional midwifery in Oaxaca.
Thank you for your loyalty.
With love,
Elisabeth & Christian

Our popular rebozos are still available for now...

They accompany you during pregnancy and birth, carry your baby safely and securely, and are a valuable tool for your work as a doula or midwife.
Through our collaboration with our Mexican partners at ANTAMA , we ensure that artistic handicrafts are fairly remunerated and that midwifery projects in rural areas of Mexico are supported.

Each Faja provides support, warmth, and connection to your core. For days when you want to feel supported.

Goodbye NIRMI baby carriers
NIRMI becomes The Caring Tribe
Farewell statementThe last NIRMIs have been sold. Production of the NIRMI baby carrier has ended. NIRMI was born from the belief that sustainable products can change the world. Today we know that transitions need more than products. Caring Tribe accompanies transitions.
- The transition from being human to becoming a parent.
- And the transition towards a life in which we understand ourselves as part of nature again.
A central starting point is matrescence: the transition to becoming a caring person is not a biological switch flipped at birth. Care emerges through a process — through experience, accompaniment, and relationship. This process doesn't only concern birth mothers. Fathers, non-birth mothers, and other parents go through this transition too. Because care is not an innate quality. It is a capacity that is learned, accompanied, and internalised.
At Caring Tribe you'll find:
- A small shop for Rebozos. Rebozos accompany transitions around pregnancy, birth, and becoming a parent.
- Texts on motherhood, fatherhood, and shared care work. Grounded in everyday life, honest, and free of gender clichés.
- Workshops and formats for accompanying transitions. On new rituals, on minimalism, and on how care, work, and relationships can be organised in sustainable ways.
